The BDO’s primary focus is processing the large number of investment & wealth planning inquiries Camarda regularly receives from potential clients across the US. This process includes contacting potential clients, assessing their investment structure & planning needs, and scheduling those who appear to be good potential fits as Camarda clients. BDOs supply potential clients with background on the firm’s qualifications & areas of expertise, follow up to collect information such as investment statements for analysis and “stress testing”, and schedule appointments for Camarda’s Wealth Management Executive VPs to conduct our complimentary “Wealth 360°” assessment and convert good-fit potential clients to Camarda clients. Compensation is base salary plus incentives and bonuses. Strong qualifications & appointment setting are critical to success in this position.

EVPs help prospective clients evaluate the fit with Camarda and make the transition to us when it is in their interest to do so. Assessment meetings – typically phone calls & Zooms – are scheduled directly by EVPs and by BDOs from the large number of potential clients requesting information from us. EVPs describe Camarda’s unique wealth management value proposition to potential clients, collect financial and investment information and make assessment recommendations, and facilitate new client onboarding and asset transfers, and introductions to the Senior Wealth Advisory team, who provides scheduled ongoing advice & service. Senior Personal Wealth Advisor (SPWA)
SPWAs function as lead advisors on a team of specialists. This position typically requires a current CFP®, CPWA® or ChFC® designation, and extensive financial planning related experience. SPWAs are responsible to provide ongoing wealth advice and investment counsel to firm clients once introduced and onboarded by EVPs. While the SWA role is primarily a consultative, not a sales, role, sales skills are important in helping lead clients to decisions believed to be in their best interests, as well as developing client referrals and transferring clients’ outside assets to our care where appropriate. SPWA advice is based the firm’s written best practices algorithms for specific planning situations under the mentorship of the Chief Wealth Officer.
